Google has not published an exact width×height table for every supported ratio, and we do not publish numbers we cannot verify. 1:1 is confirmed at exactly 1024×1024px; other ratios keep roughly the same pixel budget on their long edge — check your actual generation result for the precise size.

When are credits charged — on submit or on success?

Credits are charged when you submit a generation, not only when it succeeds. If a generation ultimately fails, the credits used for that attempt are automatically refunded to your account — see Troubleshooting for details.

Can I get a larger file than the native output?

Any enlargement beyond the native output is an upscale or export step, not a higher native resolution generation from the model itself.

Is there a limit to how many times I can iterate on one image?
